I really enjoyed the look inside the lives of these people. I liked the way each story was tied into the next. I got to know the characters and see how their lives changed as the tales went on. Ms. Pirri sets this book in such a beautiful piece of the country. If you close your eyes, you can picture Kate and James, Annie and Cane, Jane and Simon all standing on the porch of the Sapphire Palace, asking you to come back for another visit soon. Kimberly
